Haven Stacking Chair Cover

What this cover is

The Haven Stacking Chair Cover is a fitted outdoor cover for stacked chairs. Slide it over a pile of chairs on the patio, deck or beside the shed, and it keeps rain, dust and leaf litter off the seats and frames.

The fabric is 210D polyester with a waterproof finish. It is light enough to move on and off by yourself, and it folds down small when the chairs are back in use. A drawstring hem runs around the bottom edge. Pull it tight and the cover stays in place instead of flapping in the wind.

This is a cover only. It does not include chairs.

Size

One size fits most stacked chair piles.

Measure your stack before you order. Check the width, depth and total height, including the top chair. If your stack is close to the listed size, leave a little room so the fabric is not stretched tight. A slightly loose cover sheds water better than a tight one.

Colors

Pick the color that blends with your outdoor space:

• Black: a deep, neutral tone that hides dirt and looks sharp against most furniture.
• Light gray: a softer look that stays cooler in direct sun and pairs well with light decks and stone patios.

Both colors use the same fabric and the same drawstring hem.

How to fit and use it

1. Stack your chairs neatly so the pile is stable and roughly even on top.
2. Drape the cover over the top and pull it down over the sides.
3. Work the hem down to the base of the stack.
4. Pull the drawstring tight and tuck the loose cord out of the way.

A few habits keep the cover working well:

• Let wet chairs dry before you cover them. Trapping moisture under the fabric is hard on frames and cushions.
• Keep sharp edges and rough corners away from the fabric. A folded towel over a sharp armrest helps.
• In high wind, set the covered stack against a wall or tuck the base under the chairs.
• Check the cover after heavy rain. Tip off standing water so the fabric is not weighed down.

When the chairs come out again, lift the cover off, shake it out and let it air dry in the sun before you fold it.

Care and storage

Wipe the cover with a damp cloth or rinse it with a garden hose. Mild soap is fine for bird droppings and tree sap. Let it air dry fully, then fold it loosely.

Store it in the included storage bag in a dry spot, such as a garage shelf or a closet. Folding along the same lines every time can wear the fabric, so change the folds now and then. With basic care, this cover is ready for the next season.
