Cover or sail?
A cover protects furniture while you're not using it. These covers are waterproof, but water can pool on a flat top, so raise the center to let rain run off. A sail shades the space while you are, and rain passes through it.
Measure before you choose
The products here come in 2 to 36 sizes, so measure first. The fit guide shows which size fits your furniture, anchor points or door.
Fitting your furniture cover
Follow these steps to set up your cover:
- Push dining chairs completely in, then measure length, width and total height.
- Select a size with 0.8 to 2 in (2 to 5 cm) of clearance so the hem sits clear of the ground.
- Place an object under the middle to elevate the center and let rain run off freely.
- Pull the drawstring hem snug and fasten the buckle straps.

Planning your shade sail anchors
Installing a triangular shade canopy requires secure points:
- Have your posts or wall structures inspected before fixing any hardware.
- Measure the shortest distance between your three anchor points.
- Allow 12 to 17.5 in (30 to 45 cm) of open space at each corner for your chosen tensioning gear.
- Hook tensioners to the D-rings and adjust until taut.

Attaching the magnetic door screen
Fit your mesh screen directly to the entrance without tools:
- Wipe the frame clean and dry, confirming there is at least 0.8 in (2 cm) of flat frame along the top and sides.
- Press the included hook-and-loop tape along the top of the frame, adding push pins if you want extra hold.
- Hang the mesh from the top so the magnets meet in the middle and the bottom edge clears the floor.

Routine care and returns
Brush off loose dust and wash materials with cool water and mild soap. Let the fabric air-dry completely. Avoid bleach, pressure washers, dryers and stiff brushes.

Questions
Are the covers waterproof?
Yes. All three covers here are waterproof polyester, and the Haven Shield cover adds a PU coating. Water can still pool on a flat top, so raise the center to let rain run off. Dry furniture before covering it, and bring cushions inside during long wet spells.
Does a shade sail keep the rain out?
No. The canvas sail and the HDPE net both let rain through. They're made for shade, not as a roof. Take them down in severe weather or when you're away for a long time.
