The Nocturne Blackout Outdoor Curtain Panel is a single-piece curtain made for open-air rooms. The fabric is 100% polyester at 280 gsm with a blackout coating, so it blocks light and helps hold back heat and glare. The same fabric is waterproof, which makes it a practical pick for a patio, balcony, garden, pool deck, porch or terrace.

Grommets run along the top and bottom edges. The top grommets slide onto a rod or cable. The bottom grommets let you anchor the panel so it stays in place on breezy days. Because the panel hangs from both edges, it keeps a clean, straight line instead of flapping loose.

Each order includes 1 curtain panel. If you want fuller coverage across a wide opening, order more than one panel.

Measure your rod or cable first, then measure from the mounting point to where you want the panel to end. A panel that is a few inches wider than the opening gives you a bit of overlap and a fuller look.

Colors

There are 11 colors: Beige, Light gray, White gray, Rice yellow, Light brown, Light rice pink, Dark gray, Black, Light green, Medium gray and Dark green.

The neutrals, Beige, Light gray, White gray, Medium gray and Dark gray, blend with most siding, stone and wood. Black gives the strongest light block and a crisp outline. Rice yellow, Light rice pink and Light brown add a softer, warmer tone. Light green and Dark green sit well against plants and lawn.

How to hang and use it

Slide the top grommets onto a curtain rod, cable or wire. Space the grommets evenly so the fabric hangs straight. Use the bottom grommets to tie the panel down to a post, rail or ground anchor. That keeps the panel steady when wind moves through the space.

Use one panel to shade a single chair or a narrow doorway. Use two or more panels side by side to close off a larger pergola bay or a full porch opening. The waterproof fabric also works as a wind block on a balcony or around a pool deck.

Care

Rinse the panel with water to clear dust and pollen. Let it dry fully before you fold it or store it. Store it dry in a clean, dry place. Do not pack it away damp.
