What this outdoor curtain panel is

This is a single lace curtain panel made for outdoor living spaces. The fabric is 100% polyester woven knit lace at 100gsm. It has a soft, open weave that lets daylight through while taking the hard edge off direct sun. The shading rate runs from 1% to 40%, so it is a light filter rather than a blackout layer.

The panel is not water resistant. It is meant for covered areas where it can dry out between uses, such as a covered patio, a porch ceiling, a pergola or a sunroom window.

Measure your opening before you order. For a full look, use two panels side by side. For a lighter look, one panel is often enough on a narrow window.

How to install and use it

This panel uses ceiling installation. It hangs from the top of your opening rather than from a wall bracket. The opening and closing method is left and right biparting open, so the panels part from the center and pull to each side.

Use it on a flat window, a porch opening or under a pergola beam. Because the fabric is sheer, it works well layered over a heavier cover or on its own where you only want a soft screen. The lace pattern reads as a garden accent from both sides.

Care and storage

Rinse the panel with water and let it dry fully before you store it. Do not put it away damp. A quick rinse clears dust and pollen from the weave. Store it folded or rolled in a dry spot between seasons.
