The Halo Mosquito Screen Mesh is a window screen you attach with hook-and-loop fastening instead of staples, spline or a rigid frame. The mesh is plastic, and the edging is a hook-and-loop strip around the border. It keeps flying insects out while letting air move through an open window.
Because the screen presses onto a tape strip rather than sliding into a channel, you can lift it off when you want a clear opening, then press it back on. That makes it a practical choice for windows where you want seasonal bug protection without rebuilding the frame.
Choose a width and a height from the options below. The screen is made to the size you pick, so measure your window opening before ordering.

Width and height are chosen separately, so you can match a wide window or a tall one. If your measurement falls between two listed sizes, size up so the edging has room to sit on the frame.
You need a flat surface of about 2 in (2 cm) on each side and along the top of the frame. That is where the hook-and-loop tape goes. Clean the frame first so the tape bonds well, then press the tape into place around the sides and top.
Line up the screen edging with the tape and press it down along each side, working from the top corners downward. Smooth the mesh as you go so it sits flat. To open the window fully, peel the screen away from the tape and set it aside.
The screen works on wood, metal and vinyl window frames as long as the surface is flat and dry. It also suits a door opening if you have the same tape strip in place, though it is sized and listed here as a window screen.
Each order includes one screen and one roll of hook-and-loop tape. The tape is the matching half of the fastening, so you can install the screen on a frame that does not already have a strip. No frame, spline or tools are included.
Rinse the mesh with water to clear dust and pollen. Let it dry fully before you fold or store it. Store it flat or rolled loosely, away from sharp edges, so the edging stays clean and the mesh keeps its shape for the next season.
It uses hook-and-loop fastening. You press the included tape around the sides and top of the frame, then press the screen edging onto it. No staples or spline are needed.
Plan for about 2 in (2 cm) of flat surface on each side and along the top. The tape and the screen edging sit on that band, so a flat, clean frame works best.
You get one screen and one roll of hook-and-loop tape. The tape lets you set up the fastening on a frame that does not have a strip yet.
Rinse the mesh with water, then let it dry completely before storing. Keep it flat or rolled loosely so the edging and mesh stay in good shape.
