When you are ready to cook, lift the cover off and set it aside. Do not drag it across rough concrete or sharp edges, since that can scuff the PU coating.

Care and storage

Rinse the cover with water and let it dry fully before you store it. A quick rinse removes dust, pollen and bird droppings. For heavier grime, use a soft brush with plain water. Skip harsh cleaners and abrasive pads, which can wear down the coating.

Dry the cover on a line or over a railing in the sun. Once it is completely dry, fold it and keep it in a dry spot. Never store it damp, because trapped moisture can cause mildew and a musty smell.
